Dr. Saipriya Avasarala “Dr. Sai” grew up in the Chicago suburb of Aurora and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She went on to complete her Master’s and Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL, where she had extensive training in cosmetic dentistry, root canals, crowns, and all facets of dentistry. She also completed clinical rotations which allowed her to expand her clinical skills in providing care for children and underserved communities. Dr. Avasarala believes disease prevention is key to good oral health and a healthy smile. She dedicates her time to continuing education to advance her knowledge and is a current member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Outside the office, Dr. Avasarala enjoys traveling and baking and hopes to visit all the national parks one day. She looks forward to seeing your smiling face at the office and is proud to serve the great people of Lake County.
